U.S.S. Lenora NCC-79015
Lenora, meaning ‘Light’ or ‘Torch’ in Greek, is the name given to Starfleet Intelligence Divisions most recently named vessel. Its mission profile aims to bring to light the darker sides of the Federations' history by uncovering the actions of Section 31. Section 31, named after Article 14, Section 31 of Starfleets Charter which allowed for extraordinary measures to be taken in times of extreme threat, was once a rumor but has since been brought to light within Starfleet.
Set in the year 2400, just after the events of Season 1 of Picard. The Synth ban has been rescinded, and Artificial Intelligence vessels, such as the Prometheus class, have been brought back under extreme supervision. A fresh Captain with a fresh crew deep inside Federation borders begin to investigate remnants of a bygone era.

Jara'kani had decided long ago that no simulated pool or beach would ever beat or even match Suraya Bay's pristine lagoons. Sure, you could replicate the sights and sounds and even smells, but there was something about it she couldn't put her finger on that you simply had to be there to experience. Nigi looked out onto the ship below. She was a Nova with a fresh batch of paint where her old name used to be, indicating two things; she was used, and she was still fighting the good fight. In her usual curved lettering, the name was spelled out as USS Lenora with the registry, NCC-79015, matching the same curve below the ship's name. The USS Lenora has altered course toward Veridan III following the detection of a Starfleet distress signal originating somewhere on the planet’s northern hemisphere. Initial analysis indicates the transmission protocol is over eighty years old, predating several modern encryption standards, yet the authentication signatures remain consistent with archived Starfleet emergency beacons.
Long-range scans show intermittent power fluctuations near a mountainous region bordering vast wheat-colored plains beneath the system’s twin moons. Atmospheric conditions are stable, though unusual magnetic interference is preventing a precise lock on the source of the signal.
What troubles me is not merely the age of the transmission……
